Did anything come of it?ReTracernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20670916.post-1136930128101607182006-01-10T13:55:00.000-08:002006-01-10T13:55:00.000-08:00Mike,I agree. A Wikipedia format would allow people to provide valuable information and be done with it. They don't have to keep revisting the same issues, but can simply let things stand and be heard forever.Broken Yogihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02257804418740860542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20670916.post-1136910356808386032006-01-10T08:25:00.000-08:002006-01-10T08:25:00.000-08:00Your idea would bring the variousissues into sharp...Your idea would bring the various
issues into sharper focus.

I've noticed someone at the forum
recently arguing that Tom's efforts
are almost a form of pathological
distraction. This poster argued
he should direct his attention to
a positive spiritual practice.
(Which presumes incorrectly that he
isn't.)

Since your idea provides a framework for people to provide
their own information, perspective, etc., and to do so
WITHOUT REPEATING THEMSELVES ENDLESSLY (as in the forum setting), the issue of someone "wasting" their time on
a distracting, negative meditation should not, in fact, really be an
issue.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15259151459827690096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20670916.post-1136862806277735242006-01-09T19:13:00.000-08:002006-01-09T19:13:00.000-08:00Hello BY. Your idea plays right into the criticism that, while you may have left the group, your interests continue to revolve around it to the degree that, if you were not a self-identified dissident, you might very well be thought an advocate, albeit in a twisted way not uncharacteristic of the Daism oeuvre altogether.

A response might be that, if Daism is left without a challenge then its proponents will be the only voice you hear. But there are innumerable voices spouting crap and insanity. Who has time to contradict them all?

We might ask those who feel they do have time -- have they become fully enlightened and/or realized themselves, that they can afford to waste that much time down at the Sidetrack Tap, so to speak? And if they have not so realized, does a such a thorough deconstruction of a discredited path lead to anything worth while?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
